Working Principle
Three-phase 400/480 VAC industrial mains supply passes integrated EMC noise filter and three-phase full-wave diode rectifier circuit to generate stabilized 640 VDC high-voltage internal power bus feeding three-phase high-voltage IGBT power stage. Dual-core floating-point DSP servo processor executes high-speed closed-loop current, speed and position control algorithms based on real-time EtherCAT motion command data and motor shaft absolute position feedback signals. DSP generates high-voltage pulse-width modulation signals to drive three-phase power bridge, outputting sinusoidal variable frequency three-phase high-voltage AC current to actuate high-torque AKM permanent magnet synchronous servo motor. Two fully isolated cross-monitored STO safety channels immediately disable all PWM gate drive signals upon external safety interlock activation, removing motor output torque instantaneously without disconnecting three-phase mains power supply. Large-volume regenerative kinetic energy generated during heavy load motor deceleration is dissipated as thermal energy via high-power external braking resistor connected to dedicated drive power terminals.
