Functional Features
- Fixed-speed brushless DC fan motor with zero brush wear, eliminating periodic fan brush replacement maintenance
- Integrated metal mesh dust filter screen blocks metal shavings, textile fiber and airborne industrial dust from entering motor internal ventilation channels
- Standard 24VDC operating voltage directly derived from servo amplifier internal auxiliary power supply without independent power adapter
- Four symmetrical through-hole mounting structure perfectly matches rear end cap installation reserved holes of B series servo motors
- Pre-terminated 300mm fixed power lead with stripped wire ends for direct connection to motor internal auxiliary fan terminal block
- Balanced aluminum fan blade assembly eliminates vibration and noise during long-duration continuous operation
- Over-current self-protection circuit embedded inside fan drive PCB to avoid short-circuit damage to servo amplifier auxiliary power supply
Working Principle
24VDC auxiliary power output from matched PRD series analog servo amplifier energizes internal brushless fan control PCB. PCB generates three-phase alternating drive current to miniature fan stator, driving aluminum fan blade to rotate at constant 3800 RPM. Rotating blade draws ambient cooling air through front metal filter screen, pushes airflow axially through servo motor rear ventilation slots, flowing along stator housing rib channels to carry winding heat out of motor assembly, realizing forced convection heat dissipation. Internal over-current sampling circuit cuts fan drive signal automatically when short circuit or stall occurs to protect upstream power circuit.
Material Composition
- Fan Outer Mount Housing: Cold-rolled steel plate with black epoxy anti-rust powder coating
- Fan Blade: Cast aluminum alloy lightweight balanced blade
- Fan Motor Stator Core: 0.2mm thin silicon steel lamination

- Embedded short-circuit protection prevents amplifier auxiliary power circuit burnout caused by fan stall fault
- Low vibration balanced blade avoids additional mechanical resonance noise of servo motor system
- 24VDC unified power interface shares power supply with motor holding brake circuit, simplifying cabinet wiring layout
Applicable Industries
Textile manufacturing machinery, analog printing equipment, packaging auxiliary low-speed axes, laboratory motion test benches, legacy machine tool servo retrofits, material handling fixed-cycle automation equipment
Installation Requirements
- Align four assembly mounting holes with motor rear end cap reserved holes; fasten four M4 screws with tightening torque of 1.5 N·m
- Ensure filter screen faces outward toward ambient air intake, blade air outlet side closely attached to motor ventilation grille
- Route power lead through housing wire notch, fix wire with plastic cable tie to avoid friction contact with rotating fan blade
- Connect fan positive/negative wire strictly follow terminal marking on motor internal auxiliary terminal block; reverse polarity causes fan stall
- Maintain minimum 60mm unobstructed open space outside filter screen for smooth air intake without blockage
Operation Precautions
- Clean stainless steel filter screen every 200 operating hours in high-dust workshop environments to avoid airflow reduction and motor overheating
- Immediately cut off 24VDC power supply if abnormal fan noise or stall phenomenon occurs; inspect blade foreign matter blockage first
- Do not apply liquid cleaning agent directly to fan motor compartment during maintenance; only wipe filter screen with dry compressed air
- Fan assembly cannot operate continuously above +55°C ambient; high-temperature environment requires external auxiliary air circulation
- Replace complete fan assembly once MTBF service life of 40,000 hours is reached to prevent sudden fan stall and motor thermal overload fault
- Avoid spraying coolant liquid directly onto fan housing during equipment production operation; liquid ingress leads to internal PCB short circuit
