Kollmorgen AKD-P00606-NCC

Product Description: The AKD-P family are high-performance, Ethernet-based digital servo amplifiers. The “P” denotes EtherCAT® motion bus as primary network interface. “00606” = 6 A continuous / 18 A peak / ~2 kW @ 240 VAC. “NCC” = no regenerative resistor, standard I/O, CAN/EtherCAT option populated, no Safe Torque Off (STO) in base, specific connector/config variant.

  • Position Loop Update: 125 µs
    I/O:
  • 8 digital inputs (24 V), 3 digital outputs (24 V)
  • 1 analog input (−10…+10 V), 1 analog output
  • STO (Safe Torque Off) — optional/not included in base -NCC; check safety module if required
    Physical:
  • Dimensions (H×W×D): approx. 238 × 65 × 172 mm
  • Weight: ~2.0 kg
  • Protection: IP20
  • Cooling: Natural convection or forced air above 40 °C derating

    Features:
  • Plug-and-play auto-tuning with Kollmorgen AKM/Gold Line motors
  • Kollmorgen WorkBench GUI for commissioning, oscilloscope, Bode plot
  • Built-in electronic gearing, camming, registration
  • Dual-processor architecture for deterministic control
    Installation Notes:
  • Requires 24 V DC control supply independent of AC mains
  • Shield motor power and feedback cables separately; ground to PE terminal
  • Use ferrite cores on motor leads if EMI issues arise
  • Regenerative resistor may be required for frequent deceleration — order separately if -NCC lacks it
