Structural Features:

  • Identical power stage to AKD-P04807 — Same IGBT bridge, same brake chopper.
  • EtherCAT native slave — No additional gateway needed; drive appears as EtherCAT node.
  • Enhanced analog I/O (A option) — 16-bit resolution vs. 12-bit on standard model; suitable for analog command sourcing.
  • Modular terminal blocks — Pluggable power, motor, encoder, I/O connectors.
  • LED indicators — Power, Ready, Fault, Warning, EtherCAT Link.

Working Principle:
Same core operating principle as AKD-P04807: EtherCAT master sends motion profile (CSP/CSV/CST) to drive. Internal servo loops run at 8 kHz. PWM synthesizes motor current. EtherCAT distributed clock ensures < 1 μs cycle jitter across all axes. Brake chopper activates at 410 VDC bus to dissipate regenerative energy.

Key Advantages (vs. AKD-P04807-NBE):

  • EtherCAT native (B vs. P) — Faster cycle times, deterministic motion, no gateway latency.
  • Enhanced analog I/O (A) — 16-bit resolution for precision analog command/feedback.
  • Same power rating (7 kW, 48 A) — Drop-in replacement for PWM variant in EtherCAT systems.

Applicable Industries:
Same as AKD-P04807-NBE: CNC, Packaging, Printing, Robotics, Material handling, Textile.

Installation Requirements:

  • Identical to AKD-P04807-NBE.
  • EtherCAT termination: 120 Ω resistor at last device on network.
  • For analog I/O use: Use shielded twisted-pair cables; keep away from power cables by ≥ 100 mm.
  • Ambient airflow: ≥ 1.2 CFM — mandatory for thermal management.

Usage Precautions:

  • Identical to AKD-P04807-NBE.
  • EtherCAT cable: Use Cat 5e or better shielded cable; max segment length 100 m between nodes.
  • Do not exceed 48 A continuous — thermal limit is identical to PWM variant.
  • Analog inputs: Do not exceed ±10 V — 16-bit ADC range is 0–10 V or ±10 V selectable.
