Functional Features:
- Single-phase input with active PFC (Power Factor Correction) >0.95
- NBS configuration includes EtherCAT bridge mode for daisy-chain topology
- Integrated web server for remote diagnostics via standard browser
- Kollmorgen Auto-Tune with one-push commissioning
Advantages:
- Full AKD feature set on single-phase power — no performance compromise vs. three-phase models
- Eliminates need for external transformer in 240V-only facilities
- NBS variant supports network daisy-chaining without external switches
Applicable Industries:
Light Industrial Automation, Conveyor Systems, Medical Devices, Food & Beverage Processing, Laboratory Automation, Small CNC Routers
Installation Requirements:
- Single-phase 240V ±10% supply required
- Neutral conductor must be connected
- Minimum 100mm clearance on all sides for natural convection cooling
Usage Notes:
- Peak current (24A) limited to 3-second bursts; sustained operation above 7A triggers thermal protection
- NBS configuration requires EtherCAT network planning — confirm slave device count <16 per master
- Use Kollmorgen-approved motor cables only (part numbers listed in Workbench)
