Installation Requirements:

  • DIN rail or panel mount with minimum 15 mm clearance (higher current = more heat)
  • Use 6 AWG power cables for 24A continuous current
  • Shielded EtherCAT cable (CAT5e or better)
  • Ground chassis to PE — do not float ground

Usage Notes:

  • Derate current by 10% per 10°C above 40°C ambient
  • For EtherCAT: configure PDO mapping for CSP mode (0x6040–0x6041)
  • Do not parallel outputs — each axis requires its own drive
  • Firmware updates via Kollmorgen Workbench — back up parameters first
