Product Introduction:
The AKD-B02406-NBA is a high-current Ethernet servo amplifier in the AKD “B” (480 Vac 3-phase, book-style) platform. It supplies 24 Arms continuous and 48 Arms peak for roughly 5 seconds, supporting up to 8 kW continuous output at 400–480 Vac. It is intended to drive AKM4, AKM5, and smaller AKM6 motors, or pairs of lower-current axes via a shared DC bus. The drive integrates STO-capable safe torque off, full resolver/encoder feedback support, and all major industrial Ethernet protocols.

Working Principle:
The drive rectifies the 3-phase line to a DC bus, then uses IGBT PWM inverter stages to synthesize sinusoidal phase currents. Rotor position from the feedback device closes the current loop; the velocity and position loops run on the DSP. STO removes gate drive enable when safety circuit opens.
