Kollmorgen AKD-B00606-NCA

Product Description: “B” = Base drive version — no built-in fieldbus master; controlled via ±10 V analog command, step/direction, or internal programming. Intended for standalone or retrofit applications replacing older analog drives. “NCA” = standard I/O, no STO module, specific connector layout.

8. Kollmorgen AKD-B00606-NCS (AKD Base Drive — 6 A, with Serial/Modbus TCP Option)

Product Name: Kollmorgen AKD-B00606-NCS — Base Analog Servo Drive with Modbus TCP / RS-232/485 Serial Interface
Product Description: Electrically identical to AKD-B00606-NCA but “S” suffix indicates serial communications option (Modbus RTU over RS-232/485 or Modbus TCP via RJ45 service port) enabled for basic parameter read/write and limited motion control via register mapping. No real-time motion bus (EtherCAT/Profinet).
Key Differentiator vs NCA: Communication port configured for Modbus access — useful for PLCs without motion bus or for HMI-based drive setup.
All other specs (current, power, feedback, I/O) match the AKD-x00606 family described above.
