Working Principle:
The AEM-090-30 operates on the principle of a three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The stator windings are energized by a three-phase AC supply from the servo drive, generating a rotating magnetic field. The permanent magnet rotor locks to this rotating field and follows it synchronously. The servo drive continuously adjusts the phase, frequency, and amplitude of the stator current to precisely control torque, speed, and position. The multi-turn absolute encoder provides real-time rotor position feedback to the drive for closed-loop control.
