Real-time operating system scheduling for millisecond-class control cycles
System bus data exchange with digital, analog and servo modules
Ethernet throughput adequate for program download, diagnostics and visualization
Material Composition:
Housing: industrial aluminum/metal CPU carrier with oxidation finish
Internal boards: multilayer FR4 control PCB
Connectors: gold-plated Ethernet, system bus and serial contacts
Terminals: flame-retardant thermoplastic with spring or screw clamping
Structural Characteristics:
Standard KEBA control rack width CPU module
Front status LED array and service interfaces
Rear backplane connector for system bus and 24 V DC power
Optional DIN rail mounting bracket depending on chassis design
Working Principle:
The CPU boots from internal flash, loads the real-time control project into SDRAM, and executes IEC-style or KEBA machine tasks. Field data from I/O and servo modules arrives over the system bus; Ethernet handles HMI, recipes and diagnostics; CAN/RS232/USB support local peripherals. Output commands return to I/O and motion modules each control cycle.
Installation Requirements:
Insert into a compatible KEBA rack or mount on DIN rail with proper spacing
Connect 24 V DC backplane power with correct polarity and fusing
Install only approved KEBA I/O, communication and servo modules
Maintain cabinet ventilation within 0 °C to +55 °C
Usage Precautions:
Do not operate with non-KEBA system components outside validated configurations
Backup application project before firmware or parameter changes
Prevent electrostatic discharge when handling board edges and connectors
Monitor CPU temperature and system bus load during continuous production
