Honeywell 51304754-150

Product Name: MC-PAIH03 High Level Analog Input (HLAI) Processor Module
Introduction: The 51304754-150 (MC-PAIH03) is a high-level analog input processor for Honeywell TDC 3000 and Experion PKS systems. It performs high-precision acquisition of 4–20 mA, voltage, and other high-level analog signals from field transmitters and sensors. The module is now discontinued by the original factory and circulates as industrial spare parts.

Features: Differential inputs for high common-mode noise immunity. 16-bit A/D conversion for high precision. Integrated galvanic isolation. Compatible with a wide range of Honeywell FTA termination assemblies. Industrial-grade operating temperature range.
Applications: High-precision analog signal acquisition in manufacturing, oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, and water treatment—processing signals from transmitters, sensors, and 2-wire or self-powered field instruments.
Working Principle: Field signals arrive via the selected FTA. Each of the 16 differential channels is filtered, conditioned, and converted by a 16-bit A/D converter at 4 samples per second. The digital results are transmitted over the DCS backplane. The single-pole RC filter at 1 Hz rejects high-frequency noise, while the 70 dB common-mode rejection isolates the measurement from ground potential differences.
Installation Requirements: Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail in a control cabinet. Select and install the appropriate FTA (TAIH series) based on signal type. Wire field instruments observing polarity and shielding best practices. Download channel configuration (range, filtering) from the engineering station.
Precautions: Although the module tolerates ±30 V without damage, operate within the specified signal ranges to maintain stated accuracy. The original factory has discontinued production; when sourcing spare parts, verify authenticity and firmware compatibility. Maintain IP20 enclosure protection—do not expose to direct moisture or conductive dust.
