HDR Power Systems DCPF1-120-15-01

Product Name
Single-phase phase-fired SCR DC power control unit, 120 VAC input class, 15 A output class.
Product Introduction
This unit delivers controlled DC output from single-phase AC supply by phase-angle firing of silicon controlled rectifiers. It is built for resistive and inductive industrial process loads that require precise DC power control, including heating, plating, electrochemical processes and laboratory power control.

Dedicated AC input terminals, DC output terminals and command input terminals.
Status indicators on front section for commissioning and maintenance.
Working Principle
The controller receives an analog command signal and compares it with output feedback. The firing circuit controls SCR conduction angle on each AC half-cycle. Increased command produces longer SCR conduction and higher average DC output; decreased command reduces conduction angle and lowers DC output. Output DC level remains approximately 90% of input AC peak rectified value according to load and firing conditions.
Installation Requirements
Mount in a ventilated enclosure with adequate clearance for heat dissipation.
Verify AC supply voltage, frequency and current rating before connection.
Use properly sized conductors for 15 A DC output and SCR input current.
Separate command wiring from power wiring to avoid electrical noise.
Ground the enclosure and shielding according to local electrical codes.
Usage Precautions
Do not exceed 120 VAC input rating and 15 A output current rating.
Confirm 4-20 mA input is optically isolated configuration before wiring.
Check zero and span settings before energizing the load.
Disconnect AC supply before servicing terminals or replacing fuses.
Avoid moisture, dust accumulation and insufficient ventilation during operation.
