Material Composition: Steel enclosure with powder-coat finish; Class R cartridge fuse holders; copper alloy electrical contacts; integral cover interlock (on 30-200 A versions).
Structural Characteristics:
  • Enclosure dimensions: 49.2 in H × 21.6 in W × 8.9 in D
  • Surface-mounted, NEMA 3R enclosure
  • 3-pole, 3-wire fusible switch
  • Lockable handle and cover
Working Principle: As a general-duty safety switch, the TG3325R provides a visible disconnect means for 240 V, 3-phase circuits up to 400 A. In the event of an overcurrent or short circuit, the Class R cartridge fuses open to protect the downstream installation. The lockable handle and cover ensure that the switch cannot be inadvertently operated or accessed by unauthorized personnel.
Installation Requirements: Surface-mount the steel enclosure. Wire with (1) 2 AWG – 600 KCMIL or (2) 1/0 AWG – 250 KCMIL conductors. Install appropriate Class R cartridge fuses sized for the load and short-circuit capacity. Ensure the enclosure is properly grounded. Mounting must comply with NEC and local electrical codes. The integral cover interlock (for 30-200 A disconnects) provides added protection.
Usage Precautions: This product is discontinued—spare parts and replacements may be limited. Only qualified electricians should install or service. Always de-energize the upstream source and verify zero voltage before opening the cover or replacing fuses. Use only Class R cartridge fuses of the correct ampere rating. The NEMA 3R enclosure is suitable for outdoor use, but the lockable cover must remain secured against unauthorized entry.
