Key Features:
  • Vacuum arc-quenching with CuCr contacts and axial magnetic field structure—strong breaking capability, low arc energy
  • Spring energy storage: manual or motor charging; electric/manual open-close after energy storage
  • Anti-misoperation: mechanical interlock + electrical interlock to prevent load-break with knife switch closed
  • Intelligent control: supports electric operation, remote control, and interlocked control
  • Maintenance-free: vacuum interrupter life ≥ 20 years, no scheduled replacement
Materials & Construction:
  • Interrupter: high-purity alumina ceramic envelope + CuCr50 (copper-chromium) contacts
  • Insulation parts: epoxy-resin cast insulation, CTI ≥ 600 V
  • Conductive circuit: silver-plated copper busbars + stainless-steel spring finger contacts
  • Operating mechanism: alloy-steel springs + stainless-steel linkages
  • Enclosure: Epoxy powder-coated steel plate (RAL 7035)
Structural Features: Three-phase integrated structure with phase-to-phase distance ≥ 125 mm; each phase equipped with an independent vacuum interrupter; bottom drawer-type (withdrawal) or fixed installation; front panel with open/close indicator, energy-storage indicator, and ground indicator; rear auxiliary contacts (8 NO + 8 NC).
Working Principle: The spring-energy-storage operating mechanism compresses the energy-storage spring via electric motor or manual handle. Upon receiving an open/close command, the stored spring energy rapidly drives the moving contact, using the vacuum interrupter to extinguish the arc. The axial magnetic field structure ensures efficient arc quenching even at high breaking currents.
Application Scenarios: Medium-voltage distribution systems in utilities, industrial plants, and commercial buildings—used for line protection and load switching on 10 kV–12 kV networks.
Installation & Usage Notes:
  • Install in a switchgear cubicle designed for withdrawal (drawer-type) or fixed mounting per GE TEYL series guidelines.
  • Verify operating voltage matches the available control power (DC 110 V / 220 V or AC 220 V).
  • Confirm mechanical and electrical interlocks are functional prior to energizing.
  • Ensure proper phase-to-phase clearance (≥ 125 mm) and adequate ventilation within the specified ambient temperature range.
  • Periodically inspect the vacuum interrupter integrity and mechanism spring condition; the interrupter itself is maintenance-free for 20+ years.
