  • HART Modem: Dedicated HART chipset
  • Connectors: Gold-plated copper alloy pin headers
  • Housing: Anodized extruded aluminum alloy
  • Front Panel: Flame-retardant ABS
Structural Features: Standard single-slot width Mark VIe module. The front panel has 8 groups of LED indicators and channel label positions. The top has a terminal block (2 terminals per channel: +/-). The rear panel provides Ethernet interface and backplane bus connector. DIN rail mountable.
Working Principle: The field smart transmitter outputs a 4-20mA signal with superimposed HART digital signal (1200 bps FSK modulated onto 4-20mA). The module converts the current signal to a 1-5V voltage signal via a 250Ω precision resistor, which is sent to the 16-bit Σ-Δ A/D converter for high-precision digitization. Simultaneously, the HART modem demodulates the HART digital communication data from the same signal line.
Functional Features: 8-channel high-precision synchronous sampling, HART communication for reading process variables and diagnostic information, HART multi-drop support, built-in wire-break/over-range/sensor-fault detection, internal digital filtering with selectable 50Hz/60Hz notch filters, real-time Ethernet data upload with remote diagnostic access.
Application Scenarios: Used in Mark VIe control systems for gas turbines, steam turbines, and combined-cycle power plants requiring high-precision analog signal acquisition with HART-enabled smart field instruments.
Installation Requirements: DIN rail mounting in Mark VIe I/O chassis. Configure channels via ToolboxST software.
Usage Precautions: Ensure proper shielding of field cables. Verify HART load resistance compatibility when connecting multiple HART devices on a single channel.
