Functional Features: Provides the highest channel density in the Mark VIe analog input terminal family—33% more channels than IS200VAICH1CBC, double that of IS200VAICH1C, and four times that of competing modules. Advanced EMI detection, sensor drift detection, comprehensive diagnostics, and advanced calibration management with traceable records set this board apart for critical applications.
Application Scenarios: Gas & steam turbines (GE Frame 6B/7EA/9E/HA) for fuel gas pressure/flow, steam pressure/temperature, lube oil pressure/temperature, cooling water pressure, and valve position feedback. Also used in combined cycle plants, compressor stations, nuclear power plants, Arctic & desert installations, and offshore platforms with high-EMI environments.
Installation Requirements: Use shielded cables for wiring. In high-EMI environments, use double-shielded cables with additional ferrite cores. De-energize the rack before insertion/removal (no hot-swap). Connect AGND to Mark VIe system ground at a single star point. Ground shields only at the cabinet end.
Usage Precautions: Sustained input > 30 V or > 50 mA may damage input circuitry. Requires external 24 V DC loop power—plan cabinet power distribution accordingly. ESD handling with grounded wrist straps is mandatory. Keep one spare per turbine given 8-14 week lead times.
