Working Principle: The PHRA I/O pack inserts directly into the selected terminal board. The dual Ethernet ports connect to the Mark VIe I/O network(s), providing redundant communication paths. The customized acquisition board conditions and digitizes up to 10 analog input signals. For current loop inputs, the voltage across the load terminal resistor on the terminal board is sensed and measured. The two 4–20 mA outputs are driven by the DAC stage. In HART mode, the module modulates/demodulates HART signals on top of the 4–20 mA loop, relaying digital HART frames between the field instrument and the host AMS via the Ethernet network.
