Working Principle:​ Each of the 32 channels senses the presence or absence of a 24 VDC field signal. When the input voltage exceeds 10 VDC the channel registers an ON state; when it falls below 4 VDC the channel registers OFF. The input state is optically isolated at 500 VDC from the Mark VIe backplane, then transferred to the controller via the high-speed bus with a scan response within 2 ms. Each channel’s status is reflected by its dedicated LED.
