Working Principle
The built in supply rectifies three phase AC to DC bus voltage. The CNC sends position commands through the FSSB optical link. The control board calculates current commands from speed and position errors. The inverter switches DC bus power into controlled three phase output for the servo motor. The encoder returns position feedback, and the drive reports alarm status to the CNC.
Installation Requirements
Mount inside a clean electrical cabinet with adequate spacing for heat dissipation.
Connect three phase input through a properly rated breaker.
Connect 24 V DC control power to the designated control terminal.
Chain FSSB fiber from the CNC servo card or previous amplifier to COP10A and onward through COP10B.
Connect the motor U/V/W output and encoder feedback using shielded cables.
Assign the FSSB axis number in CNC parameters to match the physical fiber position.
Usage Precautions
Use only motor and parameter combinations supported by the SVU 20 rating.
Replace the cooling fan if the stop fan alarm appears.
Do not mix this unit with separate bus type Alpha i modules without system design verification.
Check insulation resistance before reconnecting motor cables after repair.
Backup CNC servo parameters before replacing the amplifier.
