- Torque Accuracy: ±4% of reading
- Repeatability: ±2% of reading
- Control Mode: Peak Torque (P)
- Power Supply: 24 V DC
- Communication: 2 digital I/O (input + output)
- Operating Temperature: 5°C to +40°C
- Protection Rating: IP40
Functional Features:
- Single peak torque setpoint
- Fixed torque window (non-adjustable during operation)
- Pass/Fail relay output (NO/NC)
- LED status indicator (green/red)
- No display — status via LEDs only
- Teach-in via external trigger input
Structural Characteristics:
- Ultra-compact housing: 80 x 60 x 35 mm
- No display — 3 LEDs + 2 buttons
- M12 6-pin connector to screwdriver
- DIN rail or direct screw mount
Material Composition:
- Housing: ABS plastic (UL94 V-0 rated)
- PCB: FR-4, no conformal coating
- Connectors: PA66 with tin-plated contacts
Working Principle:
Torque signal from the screwdriver is compared against a fixed threshold set during teach-in. When peak torque is reached, the controller de-energizes the tool relay, stopping the motor. Output relay changes state to signal pass or fail.
Key Advantages:
- Lowest cost in the Atlas Copco electric controller portfolio
- Minimal footprint — fits in tight spaces
- Zero configuration required after teach-in
- Suitable for high-volume, low-complexity fastening
Applicable Industries:
General assembly, Packaging machinery, Light industrial fixtures, Toy and consumer product manufacturing
Installation Requirements:
- DIN rail (TS35) or direct screw mounting (2x M4 holes)
- 24 V DC power supply, minimum 1 A
- M12 6-pin cable to screwdriver (max. 2 m)
- No special grounding required beyond system PE
Usage Precautions:
- IP40 rating — do not use in wet or dusty environments without additional enclosure
- No angle monitoring — unsuitable for angle-critical joints
- Recalibrate every 6 months or 200,000 cycles
- Do not exceed 30 Nm — will damage internal transducer
