Atlas Copco TC54P-P
Model Series: TC-54 Series (Dual-Channel Compact Grade)
Product Overview:
The TC54P-P is a dual-channel peak torque controller. The “P-P” suffix denotes two independent peak torque channels, enabling simultaneous control of two fastening axes or sequential dual-step tightening from a single controller unit.
Detailed content
Technical Specifications:

Functional Features:
- Two fully independent torque channels (Channel A + Channel B)
- Independent peak values for each channel
- Sequential or simultaneous dual-step tightening
- LED status per channel (green = pass, red = fail, yellow = warning)
- Teach-in for both channels
- Total cycle counter
Structural Characteristics:
- Housing: PA66-GF30 glass-fiber reinforced polyamide
- Dimensions: 140 x 90 x 50 mm
- Dual 4-digit LED displays (one per channel)
- Two M12 8-pin screwdriver connectors
- 6 front-panel membrane buttons
Material Composition:
- Housing: PA66-GF30 (glass-fiber reinforced polyamide)
- Internals: FR-4 PCB with conformal coating
- Connectors: PBT with gold-plated contacts
Working Principle:
Each channel independently samples torque from its connected screwdriver. Channel A completes its peak torque cycle first, then triggers Channel B (sequential mode), or both fire simultaneously (parallel mode). The controller cuts motor power upon reaching the set torque on each respective channel.
Key Advantages:
- Dual-channel from one unit — reduces cabling and controller count
- Enables complex two-step tightening strategies (e.g., snug + final torque)
- Cost-effective alternative to two separate controllers
- Compact size saves panel space
Applicable Industries:
Automotive interior assembly, Furniture manufacturing, Electrical enclosure assembly, Consumer goods production
Installation Requirements:
- Panel or wall mount (bracket supplied)
- 24 V DC power supply, minimum 3 A (dual channel draws more current)
- Two M12 cables to respective screwdrivers (max. 3 m each)
- Maintain 50 mm separation between controller and high-frequency welding equipment
Usage Precautions:
- Do not mix channels — each channel must be calibrated independently
- Total torque across both channels must not exceed 54 Nm per channel limit
- Verify both channels before production start
- Clean connectors monthly in dusty environments
