Atlas Copco TC52P-N
Product Series: TC Series — Electric-Driven Portable Compressors (Noise-Reduced Variant)
Product Introduction:
The TC52P-N is the baseline noise-reduced electric portable compressor in the TC52P line. The “N” enclosure provides 8 dB(A) noise reduction compared to the standard open-frame configuration, making it suitable for noise-sensitive job sites without the additional cost of DEC/TLM features.

Material Composition:
- Frame: High-tensile welded steel
- Acoustic Enclosure: Galvanized steel outer shell, mass-loaded vinyl barrier, open-cell acoustic foam inner lining
- Air End: GHH cast iron rotor set
- Cooler: Aluminum plate-fin, external mount
- Motor Housing: IP54 cast aluminum
Structural Features:
- Full noise-reduced (N) acoustic enclosure with labyrinth ventilation paths
- Elektronikon Mark IV controller with basic load/unload and pressure regulation
- Standard towable trailer with road lights
- Full canopy roof with acoustic door seals
- Integrated forklift pockets
Working Principle:
The 400V electric motor drives the twin-screw air end. Air is filtered, compressed in two stages, cooled, and separated. The Elektronikon Mark IV controller manages on/off loading based on discharge pressure setpoint. The acoustic enclosure attenuates noise through mass (steel + MLV) and absorption (foam). Ventilation openings use baffled paths that permit cooling airflow while blocking sound.
Key Advantages:
- 68 dB(A) — compliant with most urban noise regulations
- Simpler controller (Mark IV) reduces complexity and service cost vs. Mark V
- Zero emissions, fully electric
- Acoustic enclosure doubles as weather protection
Applicable Industries:
Urban construction, municipal projects, schools, hospitals, residential area work, indoor events
Installation Requirements:
- 400V 3-phase, 200A protected circuit, grounding ≤ 5 ohms
- All acoustic doors must be latched during operation
- 3 ft (1 m) clearance for ventilation
- Level surface, 14,000 lbs (6,350 kg) capacity
Usage Notes:
- Noise rating of 68 dB(A) is valid only with all enclosure doors fully closed and latched
- Inspect acoustic foam every 2 years; replace if compressed or moisture-damaged
- Controller is Elektronikon Mark IV — firmware updates via USB only (no connectivity module)
- Oil change: 250 hours initial, then every 500 hours
