Working Principle:
Three ring-type current transformers (CTs) measure phase currents. Voltage is measured directly from the supply. A dedicated metering IC (ADE7758 or equivalent) calculates all power parameters using true RMS sampling at 3.2 kHz. The microcontroller processes data and makes it available via Modbus RTU. Relay outputs are controlled by the microcontroller based on programmable setpoints (overload, power factor correction, load shedding).

Key Advantages:

  • Comprehensive metering (kW, kVAR, kVA, PF, kWh) in one device
  • 4 programmable relay outputs for load management
  • Dual supply (230 V AC or 24 V DC) for flexible installation
  • Modbus RTU for integration with BMS/SCADA

Applicable Industries:
Commercial buildings, data centers, industrial plants, renewable energy systems, utility substations.

Installation Requirements:

  • Cut 92 x 92 mm panel hole for flush mounting
  • Pass CTs around each phase conductor before connecting to load
  • Connect RS-485 A/B to controller with 120 Ω termination at last device
  • Set CT ratio in parameters to match installed CTs

Usage Precautions:

  • CTs must be installed before energizing (open CT secondary is dangerous)
  • Do not exceed 63 A per phase continuous current
  • Set relay delay timers to prevent nuisance tripping
  • Update firmware via Modbus using official AEG tool
