Material Composition:

  • Cooking Surface: Schott Ceran micro-crystal glass-ceramic — heat-resistant to 700°C, scratch-resistant
  • Frame: Stainless steel trim
  • Control Panel: Touch-sensitive glass overlay
  • Internal Components: Copper heating elements with aluminum housing

Structural Features:

  • 4 independent heating zones with individual slider controls
  • Booster function on Zone 4 — reaches full 2.5kW instantly
  • 9 power levels per zone (1-9 + Boost)
  • Residual heat indicator (H) — glows red when zone is hot
  • Child safety lock — locks all controls
  • Automatic switch-off if no pan detected for a set period
  • Easy-clean flat surface — no grooves or edges to trap food

Working Principle:
Electric current passes through nichrome or copper heating elements beneath the glass-ceramic surface, generating infrared heat. Heat transfers directly to the cookware base via conduction and radiation. The glass-ceramic remains relatively cool except where the pan sits. Touch slider controls modulate power delivery by adjusting the duty cycle of the heating elements.

Key Advantages:

  • Schott Ceran surface — industry-leading durability and heat resistance
  • Touch slider controls — precise, intuitive power adjustment
  • 4 flexible zones — cook multiple dishes simultaneously
  • Residual heat indicators — prevents accidental burns
  • Child lock + auto-off — maximum safety
  • Booster zone — rapid boil for large pots
  • Flat surface — extremely easy to wipe clean

Applicable Industries / Use Cases:
Residential kitchens, rental properties, show kitchens, small commercial kitchens

Installation Requirements:

  • Must be installed in a 560 x 490mm cut-out in countertop
  • Requires hardwired connection by a licensed electrician
  • 32A-40A circuit required (depending on wiring configuration: single-phase or 3-phase)
  • 4mm² copper cable minimum for single-phase; 2.5mm² per phase for 3-phase
  • Hob must be secured with clamping brackets to countertop underside
  • Ensure countertop material can withstand heat (no laminate directly under hob)

Usage Precautions:

  • Always use flat-bottomed cookware matching zone size
  • Do not slide pans across the glass surface — lift and place
  • Do not use as a cutting board or storage surface
  • Clean with ceramic hob scraper and cleaner — no steel wool
