AEG M907-000

Product Introduction:
The AEG M907-000 is a mechanical differential pressure switch engineered for continuous monitoring of air filter status and duct pressure differentials in HVAC, ventilation, and air handling systems. It triggers an alarm or shutdown signal when the pressure drop across a filter exceeds a pre-set threshold, indicating filter clogging or system restriction.

Detailed content

Model Series: M907 Series

Technical Specifications:

  • Pressure Range: 50 Pa to 500 Pa (adjustable)
  • Setpoint Accuracy: ±5% of full scale
  • Electrical Rating: 250V AC / 10A (SPDT contact configuration)
  • Contact Type: 1 Changeover Contact (NO/NC)
  • Operating Temperature: -10°C to +70°C
  • Protection Rating: IP54 (enclosure)
  • Connection Type: G 1/4″ male thread (pressure ports)
  • Housing MaterialAluminum alloy die-cast body with stainless steel diaphragm

Functional Features:

  • Adjustable differential pressure setpoint via built-in calibration screw
  • Visual status indicator (mechanical flag) for on-site verification
  • Dead-band adjustable to prevent contact chatter
  • Normally Open / Normally Closed contact selection via internal jumper

Structural Characteristics:

  • Compact cylindrical housing with dual pressure ports
  • Diaphragm-sensing element isolated from process media
  • Mounting bracket included for duct or panel installation

Working Principle:
Internal stainless steel diaphragm deflects proportional to the pressure differential between two ports. When deflection exceeds the mechanical spring-loaded setpoint, the diaphragm actuates a microswitch mechanism, changing the electrical contact state.

Advantages & Highlights:

  • Zero external power required for sensing (passive mechanical design)
  • Long service life with no electronic components in the sensing path
  • Resistant to vibration and electromagnetic interference
  • Wide operating temperature range suitable for rooftop and mechanical room installations

Applicable Industries:

  • Commercial HVAC
  • Hospital ventilation systems
  • Clean room air handling units (AHU)
  • Industrial dust collection systems

Installation Requirements:

  • Install in vertical or horizontal orientation with pressure ports facing upward or level
  • Use flexible tubing (Ø 4–6 mm) for pressure connections
  • Mount away from direct airflow turbulence

Usage Precautions:

  • Do not exceed maximum rated pressure of 500 Pa
  • Purge pressure lines before commissioning
  • Re-calibrate setpoint annually or after diaphragm replacement
