Key Features:

  • Electronic trip unit with LCD display showing real-time current, power, energy
  • Zone Selective Interlocking (ZSI) capability for selective coordination
  • Event logging: stores last 32 trip events with timestamp and fault current
  • Communication: Modbus RTU (RS-485) for SCADA integration
  • Rotary handle: ON / OFF / TRIP — red flag indicator for fault status

Applicable Industries: Main incoming breaker, feeder protection, motor control centers (MCC), generator protection, transformer secondary protection, large commercial buildings, industrial plants

Installation Requirements:

  • Torque terminal screws to 12 Nm (for 95 mm² cable)
  • Bus bar connection: use AEG copper bus bars rated ≥ 100 A
  • Ensure minimum 200 mm cable bend radius at terminals
  • For draw-out version: engage racking mechanism fully — do not rack under load

Usage Notes:

  • Perform insulation resistance test (≥ 1 MΩ at 500 V DC) annually
  • Calibrate trip unit settings using AEG testing set or commissioning software
  • After fault trip, read event log via Modbus or front-panel buttons before resetting
  • Coordinate upstream/downstream breakers using selectivity tables (I²t coordination)
  • Replace breaker after Icu-level fault — internal arc chutes are single-use
