Compliance: IEC 60947-5-1
Functional Features:
Instantaneous Action: Contacts change state synchronously with contactor main poles
Signal Feedback: Provides open and closed status for control and alarm circuits
Bridge Contacts: Low-resistance silver alloy contact elements
Snap Mounting: Side buckle and locating pin dock directly to compatible contactors
Application Scenarios: Contactor status signaling, control circuit interlocking, motor starter feedback, automation panel auxiliary logic, and replacement of auxiliary contact blocks on ABB EH-series contactors.
Performance Parameters:
Switching Capacity: AC-15 breaking and making according to IEC ratings
Thermal Endurance: 16 A free-air thermal current under defined ambient conditions
Mechanical Alignment: Fixed NO/NC timing with main contactor armature movement
Material Composition:
Body: Insulating thermoplastic housing
Contacts: Silver alloy bridge contacts
Terminals: Tin-plated screw terminals with copper conductors
Mounting Hardware: Molded buckle and positioning pin
Structural Features: Narrow 12.5 mm side-mounted block, clearly marked NO and NC terminals, screw clamp connections, integral mounting clip, sealed contact chamber.
Working Principle: When the contactor coil energizes, the armature moves and actuates the auxiliary mechanism. The normally open contact closes and the normally closed contact opens. When the coil de-energizes, return springs restore both contacts to their default state, providing real-time on/off signaling for the control circuit.
Installation Requirements: Attach to the designated left-side position of the compatible ABB contactor and secure the mounting buckle. Use the correct screwdriver and torque for M3.5 screw terminals. Verify contact configuration and wiring labels before energizing. Install inside a suitable low-voltage enclosure.
Usage Notes: Do not exceed the rated voltage, thermal current or switching category. Avoid corrosive atmosphere, heavy dust and condensation. Inspect contacts for oxidation or burning during maintenance. Perform all installation and removal work with the contactor de-energized.
