Working Principle
The pendant sends operator commands to the robot controller through the shielded cable. The controller returns program data, axis positions, alarm messages and system status. The touch interface renders menus and diagnostics. The three-position enabling switch and emergency stop circuit provide hardware interlock with robot motion output.

Installation Requirements
Connect the 3 m dedicated cable to the controller pendant port. Lock the rear connector completely. Hang the pendant on the designated robot-side hook when not in use. Maintain cable strain relief and avoid sharp bends.
Usage Precautions
Operate the three-position enabling switch correctly: released or fully pressed stops motion, mid-position enables motion. Disconnect controller power before removing the connector. Prevent liquid entry into the housing and connectors. Use only the original ABB pendant cable. Keep ventilation areas and connector pins free from dust.
